Mahindra reports a 36% surge in April sales with over 62,000 units sold

Mahindra & Mahindra has proclaimed that its total sales in April sublime by 36 % to 62,294 units this year. The prevalent sales unbending at 45,640 units in April 2022.

In a report, the Mahindra & Mahindra company declared that its passenger vehicle wholesales in the domestic (household) market increased by 54 % to 34,698 units last month against 22,526 in April last year.

In April 2023, the sales of commercial vehicles experienced a surge, with 25,783 units being sold, in contrast to the year-ago period when 20,411 units were sold.

The company said its exports last month slipped 33 % to 1,813 units, as compared to 2,703 units in the year-ago period.

M&M Automotive Manufactory President Veejay Nakra said after a record-breaking year in FY23, the company uninterrupted its development in SUVs by selling 34,694 units, registering a growth of 57 % in April.

He further mentioned that keeping a close eye on the engaged supply chain scenario, which is prevalent across the industry, remains a top priority for us.

Last month, Mahindra & Mahindra boosted the price of its Scorpio-N SUV Car in the country. This is the second time that the price of the SUV has grown in the last four months. After the latest price upgrade, the Mahindra Scorpio-N has evolved more precious by ₹51,299.

The entry-level Z2 petrol variant of the SUV is currently priced at ₹13.06 lakh (ex-showroom). While the cost of the SUV’s diesel model car starts at ₹13.56 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end Z8L 4WD 7-seater model commands a price of ₹24.51 lakh (ex-showroom), representing a notable increase in cost.
