Next-Generation Toyota Vellfire Leaked Ahead of Global Debut
Get ready to be amazed! Here's an exclusive sneak peek of the highly anticipated Next-Generation Toyota Vellfire, set to make its global debut soon. Check out the stunning design and exciting features that await you.
The highly popular Toyota Vellfire MPV is undergoing a complete model change, and the first images of the new Vellfire have emerged online, revealing the production-spec version at one of Toyota's plants in Japan. Although a global debut is imminent, it is unlikely that the new Toyota Vellfire will be launched in India anytime soon.

Styling-wise, the new Vellfire seems to pick up where its predecessor left off. The overall profile of the MPV remains unmistakably Vellfire, but upon closer inspection, several design differences become apparent. A side glasshouse is now a single unit, seamlessly merging with the large front quarter glass and no longer featuring a prominent divider behind the driver's door. The pillars have been blackened and outlined with chrome, giving the MPV a more premium appearance.
Based on the second-generation Lexus LM MPV, the new Vellfire shares the TNGA-K platform, but nearly all the body panels appear to be unique. The Vellfire receives a more thorough chrome finish than its sister because it is the upgraded version of the Alphard.
At the front, a massive six-slat grille dominates the MPV's fascia, extending across most of the front end, including parts of the bumper. Positioned at the center of the grille is a prominent Toyota logo, while the headlamps, arranged in two layers, flank each side of the grille, with the lower layer being slightly longer and housing the main projector headlamp setup.
The lower section of the Vellfire's front end features a noticeably connected chrome strip, starting vertically below the headlamp on one side and forming a U-shaped pattern as it connects to the other side. Moving to the rear, the MPV boasts a familiar V-shaped tail-lamp design with chrome accents, prominent Vellfire badging, and a large Toyota logo at the center.
A large spoiler with a chrome border is placed on top, housing the third stop lamp, while the U-patterned chrome surround continues at the rear, starting vertically on one side and connecting to the other.
Although interior images are not yet available, it is anticipated that the Vellfire will maintain its range of well-equipped variants and seating options, including the executive lounge package that is also offered in the Indian market.
Regarding the powertrain, specific details are still undisclosed. However, it is likely that the next-generation Toyota Vellfire will adopt similar powertrain options to the recently launched Lexus LM, considering their shared TNGA-K platform. Hope the new Vellfire offers multiple power outputs for its 2.5-liter petrol-hybrid engine, varying depending on the market.
