Introducing the Powerful and Striking Hyundai Mufasa SUV in Production Form

Before the Mufasa SUV makes its public debut at the Auto Shanghai 2023 show the following week, Hyundai released the first official pictures of the vehicle. In China, where Hyundai and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC) have a 50:50 joint venture, the Hyundai Mufasa is currently the only model that can be purchased. Hyundai had directed off the production model before in the month with the Mufasa Adventure concept. In the Chinese market demand, the ix35 is produced by the Mufasa.

Dimensions and the exterior of the Hyundai Mufasa
The Mufasa preference has measurements of 1,665mm in height, 4,475mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 2,680mm in wheelbase, according to a regulatory filing on China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology webpage, even though Hyundai hasn't officially announced the technical information. The elliptical-shaped full-width LED taillamps are held on a gloss blackboard that has Hyundai lettering in the middle. The bumper below is quite busy with cladding and a faux diffuser, despite the neat tailboard.

Nevertheless, Hyundai includes yet made any interior pictures of the Mufasa public.

Hyundai Mufasa engine choices
Although the Mufasa's technical specifications are always pending, it is expected that a 2.0-liter, 156-horsepower petrol engine will be used to drive only the front wheels. The Tucson in India uses the same engine, and the Alcazar previously had entry to it as well. Information indicates that a hybrid powertrain, possibly a 48V mild hybrid, may benefit the Mufasa in the future.

The Mufasa will be produced locally in China and, at least initially, sold only there. At least for the time being, there is no information on it entering other markets. When Hyundai makes its official debut at Auto Shanghai 2023 on April 18, more information about the engine and interior will be made available.

The Exter will be Hyundai's upcoming SUV for India.
In its home country, Hyundai revealed the Exter, a brand-new subcompact SUV founded on the Grand i10 Nios forum. At launch, it choice only run on petrol and be placed as a direct competitor to the Tata Punch. It is predicted to go on sale in August of this year.
