The Fronx, a crossover built on the Baleno platform by Maruti Suzuki, has been introduced. Its ex-showroom Delhi price ranges from Rs. 7.46 lakh to Rs. 13.14 lakh. The crossover is offered in five broad variants and has two petrol engine choices: a 1.2-litre Dualjet naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1-litre turbo petrol engine. Engine for a Maruti Suzuki FRONX

Suzuki's 1-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine has returned with the Fronx, but this time it's supported by Maruti's mild-hybrid technology. It produces 100PS and 148Nm and can be paired with either a six-speed automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual gearbox. The crossover is additionally available with a 1.2-litre Dualjet naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 89PS and 113Nm and is paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed AMT. 

Mileage of a Maruti Suzuki FRONX

For its 1.2-litre MT, 1.2-litre AMT, 21.5-liter MT, and 20.1-litre AT engines, Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 21.79 kmpl, 22.89 kmpl, and 20.1 kmpl, respectively. The Fronx measures 3,995mm in length, 1,765mm in width, and 1,550mm in height. With a wheelbase of 2,520mm and a 308-litre boot, the crossover SUV is available.

Features of the Maruti Suzuki FRONX

A nine-inch touchscreen system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic air conditioning, rear AC vents, wireless phone charging, and a 360-degree camera are included with the Fronx. Dual front airbags, hill hold assistance, an electronic stability programme, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and three-point seatbelts for all five occupants are included in the standard set of safety features. Up to six airbags, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a 360-degree camera are added in the higher-end models.
