Finally unveiled in the nation is the MG Comet EV. The EV's specifications have not yet been disclosed by the automaker, but they are anticipated in the next few days. However, leaked information indicates that it will have a 42PS electric motor, a 17.3kWh battery, and a claimed range of 230km.

The Comet EV, a Wuling Air EV rebadged, will be the first three-door compact EV manufactured by MG in this country.

A 41PS e-motor and either a 17.3kWh or 26.7kWh battery pack will likely power the Comet EV, giving it a 230km or 300km driving range, respectively. Which of these battery options will be available in India has not yet been confirmed.

LED headlights, taillights, and two 10.25-inch infotainment and driver's instrumentation screens are included with the Comet EV. Other crucial features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, connected car technology, a drive mode selector dial (Park, Forward, Reverse), and steering-mounted controls. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIZ mounts, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a reverse parking camera are all considered standard safety features.
