Price of petrol and diesel today: The cost of petrol was unchanged on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in four significant metro areas. Since May 21 of last year, when the previous pan-India revision was announced, petrol and diesel prices have remained consistent throughout the nation with the exception of a few isolated instances. However, petrol costs exceeded the Rs 100 mark in many cities.
On Thursday, customers in Delhi will continue to pay Rs 96.72 for a litre of petrol and Rs 89.62 for a similar amount of diesel. Customers in Mumbai will pay Rs 106.31 for a litre of petrol and Rs 94.72 for a comparable amount of diesel.
The price of petrol increased earlier this week by 29 paise in Himachal, 24 paise in Punjab and 62 paise in Jammu and Kashmir, according to government oil companies. At these locations, diesel increased in price by 26, 23, and 50 paise, respectively. In Uttar Pradesh, petrol and diesel decreased in price by 25 pence at the same time. In West Bengal, petrol prices decreased by 44 paise and diesel prices by 41 paise.
Petrol prices in Noida have increased to Rs 96.58 per litre and diesel prices to Rs 89.75. For a litre of diesel in Ghaziabad, it costs Rs 89.75 and Rs 96.58. Diesel will cost Rs 89.76 and petrol Rs 96.57 per litre in Lucknow.
While the price of gasoline has increased to Rs 107.24 and the price of diesel to Rs 94.04 per litre in Patna. In Port Blair, gasoline has increased to Rs 84.10 per litre and diesel to Rs 79.74.
